Sankarabharanam Is A Hindi Remake?
Actor Nikhil's Sankarabharanam is buzzed to be a Hindi remake. It's suspected that the film shares close resemblances with Hindi film Phas Gaya Re Obama. With Rajat Kapoor, Sanjay Mishra, Neha Dhupia in the lead roles, the 2010's small-budget flick directed by Subhash Kapoor is story of an NRI who comes to India to sell his ancestor's property and lands in trouble. Interestingly, the story of Nikhil's Sankarabharanam too same.
Though the makers aren't confirming that the movie is remake of Hindi film, they have admitted that it is based on the Phas Gaya Re Obama. Admittedly, writer-producer Kona Venkat stated that they have bought the rights of Hindi film Phas Gaya Re Obama for entire south and said that they just took outline of the film by weaving story around it.
Starring Nikihil in the lead role, the film has Nandita as female lead while actress Anjali plays a special role Munni, a bundit queen kinda role. The film's audio was recently released and makers are planing to release it on Nov 20.
